For over 30 years, Tom has been helping clients make the most of financial opportunities so they can reach their personal goals.
Tom earned an MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner® professional (focusing on people), as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (focusing on investment vehicles). Tom also earned a BS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
During the ‘80s and ‘90s, he advised senior executives of Fortune 500 companies on their personal financial matters. During the 2000s, Tom helped entrepreneurs and inheritors invest in environmentally aware and socially responsible portfolios. He further developed a deep expertise in direct real estate investments, and in advanced wealth transfer techniques. In recent years, Tom was asked to help a major regional bank handle the departure of more than half its staff members and clients from the investment management unit.
Tom’s role with Clarity is to work with a select group of clients, as well as contributing to portfolio design, investment and trading decisions and systems, and designing processes for efficiency and consistency.
Tom enjoys spending time with his family, as well as working out, hiking, dancing, playing acoustic guitar, and reading on a broad range of topics.
